CANCELLATION POLICY
1. Arrival Time: Participants are required to arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the scheduled departure of the tour. This allows sufficient time for check-in, orientation, and necessary preparations.
2. Late Arrival: If a participant arrives more than 5 minutes after the scheduled booking time, it will be considered a no-show. Under this policy:
The participant will not be permitted to join the tour.
No refunds will be issued for the missed tour.
1. Proper Footwear Required: For your safety and comfort during the tour, all participants are required to wear closed-toe shoes. This footwear is essential for proper protection and to meet safety standards while participating in the tour.
3. Non-compliance: Participants who do not have the appropriate closed-toe shoes at the time of the tour will not be permitted to join. Please note:
No exceptions will be made regarding this policy.
No refunds will be provided for those unable to participate due to improper footwear.
4. ESKATE SIARGAO reserves the right to cancel tours, alter routes, and change operating days. If WE cancel a trip due to poor weather conditions, mechanical failure, hazardous conditions, or closed routes, we will reschedule your visit to another date at no additional cost. If this option doesn't suit you, we will provide a full refund.
5. This tour requires a minimum of 2 electric skateboards to operate. If the minimum number of boards isn’t met, you might be contacted 12 hours before your tour to reschedule.
6. No refunds will be given for tours canceled due to a misrepresentation of physical abilities and/or failure to disclose existing health issues that end up impacting your ability to complete the tour.
7. Eskate Siargao will not provide refunds due to personal misconduct.
8. No refunds will be given for unused activities or components.
9. If a participant is unable to complete the activities once they have begun, no refunds will be issued.
GENERAL TERMS:
By joining the tour, you affirm that you are at least 16 years old and you are not under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
You commit to follow all instructions from the guide, adhere to safety and precautionary rules and respect the local traffic regulations and the environment (other users, animals, locals, etc.). Failure to follow safety guidelines may result in the participant being removed from the tour without a refund.
Any damages to the skateboards due to the participant will be charged. The rider agrees to cover the costs of repairing any damage to the equipment as per the current rate, plus labor costs, with a maximum deductible of 30.000 PHP.
If you have any medical conditions such as heart diseases, asthma, diabetes, or any other relevant health conditions, please inform the guide before the tour begins. Pregnant individuals are not allowed to participate in our tours as it may pose potential risks to both the expectant mother and the unborn child.
Please note that participants are not covered by insurance. To ensure your safety and well-being, we strongly recommend that you have personal travel insurance that covers you in case of injuries or accidents during the tour.
By participating in our tours, you consent to the use of photos or videos featuring you, taken during the tour, on our social media platforms and for the promotion of our activity, across all platforms.
